“Be there. Paths between art, technology and environment” in Rocca Ripesena

Changing societies and all those habits and behaviors that were previously taken for granted must inevitably initiate or restore a more appropriate relationship with the environment, the world and the earth. Based on this awareness, A.Ge. – Italian Parents Association of Orvieto and rodologist composer Walter Branchi start for Friday 13, Saturday 14 e Sunday May 15th a series of insights on the topic “Being there. Paths between art, technology and the environment”. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Orvieto, Gal Trasimeno Orvietano, Cittaslow and Cesvol and uses numerous collaborations, starting with Cnr and Fidapa Orvieto.

The event, with free entry, takes place between the historic center in the rooms of the New Municipal Library “Luigi Fumi” and the village of Rocca Ripesena – “Il Paese delle Rose” – a unique place born from the project started in 2008 by A.Ge., which today is a reality also thanks to the didactic rose garden, kept alive through voluntary work and the active participation of all the inhabitants of the hamlet, perfectly summarizing the objectives of the event.

The three days are intended to be attended by schools, teachers, professionals, tourism companies, artists, scholars of scientific and humanistic disciplines and, after two years of health emergency, to be a first step towards a path of sharing, change and awareness to be offered to all generations and especially to young people, schools and the whole community, educating to a far-sighted reflection on the future, starting from the modification of individual behavior to effect the collective changes that make the difference.

“Age begins again after a hiatus, although it never really stopped,” he explained Saturday May 7th the president of the A.Ge. association, Monica Pieroni on the occasion of the presentation of the event – the event has actually been on our minds for many months since last autumn and goes back to an enthusiastically received idea by Walter Branchi; The strength came from Martina Dal Savio and Lorenzo Ricci, young people willing to work together.

How Andrea Graziani worked with Vice President Francesca Compagnucci. A fresh start is always difficult, but slowly we are putting the building blocks together and for that we need to involve the city, because the network between the different moments of city merging is essential and the collaboration that we often talk about is not always taken for granted viewed. The environment is common ground and consistent with our mission, so we must work to increase effective collaboration.

“An event that comes back to life after the years of the pandemic, not only addressing issues on which our city has based a large part of the post-Covid reboot, but above all returning to the great work of the clubs to present that even in this darkness and complexity, they continued to work in secret to keep the city’s social fabric alive and vital,” said the mayor. Roberta Tardani who added: “The A.Ge. was born in Orvieto in 2008 and in recent years has been a planning path that Covid has temporarily halted, but which is restarted today with further impetus.

There are the conditions for restarting the territory. Orvieto has always focused on the beauty that history has given us, now we must invest in the care of the environment that affects the whole community, called to work to achieve goals. There is everything in this city, it needs more cohesion. But there are elements to think about the future with. The clubs have worked hard and even during the pandemic, every club has continued to plan. Today the fruits of this labor are being harvested. The project of A.Ge. It is interesting for the themes it advances and these elements are our strength for sustainable development. The land of roses is one of the ways we aspire to our territory. We have turned our attention to Orvieto, now let’s take a closer look at the beauties”.

“In Rocca Ripesena the ‘Land of Roses’ was born from an association of individuals who believed in an idea because they believe in a particular environment and work together to preserve it in its beauty – underlined Walter Branchi – The appointment of the next few days is an event born in Orvieto for the world and the problems that will be faced will be those that will affect the world and the institutions. One of them is electronic music, invented music not based on instrumental sound and looking to the future”.

Likewise Francesca Compagnucci Vice President A.Ge. and President Fidapa Orvieto focused on the “enormous potential of the event, now in its nil edition, which could have national and international development. The themes covered during the three days will be an opportunity for generations to meet to take part in the study days where adults and children can share moments of reflection and practical workshops together”.

“We’re going to talk about what we are and what we want to be, and most importantly, the 360-degree environment and conservation,” he said Andrea Graziani. Instead, the importance of incorporating other realities and the contribution everyone can make to creating interactive experiences was highlighted by Martina Dal Savioduring Lorenzo Ricci He insisted on the concrete actions everyone can take to protect the environment around us and the role of humans, starting from the impact that climate change is having on the environment and the planet. Topics integrated between environment, art and technology with installations, discussion groups, experiences. Finally, he spoke about the union and balance between technology and nature, Fabio Blackbeard.
