Dream collection on the catwalk: the creativity of Gianluca Trappetti conquers the Cosmoprof

A global company at the Bologna fair for the Spoleto hairdresser: a whole show dedicated to its legendary collections

Gianluca Trappetti’s ideas and creativity enchant the Cosmoprof 2022! The hairstylist from Spoleto, creator of the magical Hero collection, the Rockstar collection, the cult film collection and the TV series collection, enters the history of his company by bringing his collections to the world’s most important catwalk in the sector. On Monday, May 2nd, the Simone and Gianluca hairdressing salon in Viale Marconi simply went down in hairstyle history. The runway show proposed hairstyles, cuts and colors inspired by the four collections’ iconic figures, according to the photo gallery, and literally caused chaos among fans and accredited journalists in the industry. The only flaw, unfortunately, is that the fear of Covid has reduced public participation, who are still reluctant to attend an indoor event en masse despite the event’s global importance. And Covid has always reduced the range of models available to Trappetti, who has had to redesign the entire lineup with four absences. “A race against time – admits the hairdresser himself – which we were able to win thanks to my brother Simone and the entire team around Mirella Maddaleni, Silvia Mariottini and Nicole Ministrini. I thank everyone for the enormous effort that went into making sure everything was perfect.”
Back to the performance, already during the performance of Alberto Argentesi (Chiambretti Night) and when the first cuts began, the delirium unleashed for what was in every respect an absolute premiere. Thousands of photos taken, posed and not, with social networks that have gone crazy since the first cuts on the catwalk, one on all Instagram.

Trappetti, who, in addition to the hairstyle, also has a passion for rock music, has chosen to open the event with a tribute to Freddie Mercury – thanks to the leader of Matteo Diodato – the Rockstar collection. Following the tribute to Sade Jennyfer, with a great runway performance by Sharon Caravani. Then it was the turn of the Cult Film Collection and Michelle Rodriguez from Fast & Furious, played by Marta Evangelisti. Immediately behind, Marco Segoni lent his robe to none other than the Great Depression atmosphere of Once Upon a Time in America, one of the most beautiful and popular paintings. Also on the stage is Michelle Frezza, daughter of actor Mirko Frezza, along with Carlo Buoncristiani credible “Vikings” for the TV series collection. Buoncristiani was one of the most photographed models of the entire event. And finally, fireworks with the Hero collection, the forerunner of the Trappetti collections, where it all began: Furio di Titta lent his hair to the old man Logan, while Emiliano Segoloni was Logan’s clone. To conclude the most famous of the “collective cuts”: the inevitable Joker, played by Michele Santini, who traditionally lined up everyone present! The entire exhibition center almost collapsed…

At the end of the show, Gianluca Trappetti himself expressed his own understanding of fashion together with models Tudor Radnef and Luca Campagiorni. “I think it is necessary – said Trappetti – to try to vary the trend that the man with his hair shaved, the line, the shades in a certain way, etc., has wanted for years. If we can stretch the top hair a bit then we have more raw material to sculpt something new. If you really can’t stop fading on the sides, at least let them grow out a bit in the middle of the head! “. As an example, Trappetti brought two inspired hairstyles, Viking and Samurai. “To make an image change,” added the Spoleto hairdresser, “I think it goes far beyond a simple haircut. What I’m trying to do is a real morphological and structural study to achieve the best point of balance that guarantees a complete but at the same time believable change.

As proof of what has been said – the last two photos of the gallery – Trappetti presented Furio Di Titta on stage, a gentleman from Spoleto who served as a model to illustrate live the concept of “change of look” expressed by the hairdresser: a “ Before and After ”, which amazed a now rapturous audience, who roared in amazement at what was undoubtedly the most impressive graphic representation of the theoretical concept formulated somewhat earlier by Trappetti.

The Spoleto collections turned out to be the real main attraction of Cosmoprof 2022, so Gianluca didn’t sit down for lunch until around 5pm. Again, there was no lack of photo requests and pleasant interruptions from numerous enthusiasts asking questions of the notoriously humble and gregarious hairstylist, who finally saw what he saw as “my best idea put into action”.

Trappetti and the staff of Simone and Gianluca Parrucchieri, who continue the tradition of the great hairdressers of Spoleto and give prestige to the city, the warmest congratulations from the Spoletonline editorial team, together with the wish for even more creativity and profit for the future.
